1. Flickr Video Embed: MVI_1272

    My first Flickr video upload. I think I’m going to like this.
    They’ve got a 90 second limit (150 megs max), and you have to have a pro account ($25/yr) to upload. Anybody can view publicly posted Flickr vids.

    I filmed this on the way back from Bend (from the passenger’s seat: Mrs. R is driving). It’s somewhere on 126, I think, heading toward Eugene.

  7. More like DJing than Blogging

    I like Tumblr because it is so fast for posting blog entries. I am “on” a computer or nearby one most of my waking hours. Random Cyborg. When I see something I’d like to remember or share, Tumblr makes it so easy to plop it on my blog. PLOP.

    This actually feels more like DJing than blogging.

    And, since I’m here in a Text entry while the oatmeal is cooking, I’ll keep typing. Helped Stardust with a couple loads of box-moving from storage to new abode last night. In between had time for a lovely dinner of salmon cakes and aioli on greens with Mrs. Random. Heavenly! Back over to S’s to try out a makeshift sound system idea for The Ovulators at the Vet’s Club on Saturday. Our idea didn’t work out like we’d hoped, but it was good to figure that out.

    Okay, it’s ad change day at Capella Market, so I better get it in gear. Tumbl at ya later!

  9. Compal: 8.9-inch Dell laptop coming in June for less than $499 - Engadget
    Dell had to do this.  The Randoms have been buying Dells for years now, so this is good news for me.  Although I am happy to wait for a cycle or two of Eee-like laptop production from all the players.  Hopefully they’ll get better and cheaper.

  12. I’m excited about The Ovulators big show coming up at the Vet’s Club on Saturday!  I think they are playing 3 sets?  Maybe 2 but it’s just The Ovs that night, no other band.  Enchanted Forest theme.  Yay!

    In other news, I’m back into space money production.  It seems rather important.  It’s really interesting: there seem to be people who “get it” and people who are kinda just nonplussed.  But I must emphasize that those who “get it” are not necessarily “getting” the same thing.  It seems highly personal, which makes complete sense to me.
