Mr. Random

My mother-in-law has a hybrid car, and this last weekend I stayed indoors while she and Mrs. R went shopping.  They left the house but I never heard the “engine start” sound….  I was wondering if there was something wrong, looked out the window, and they were long gone.  That hybrid is VERY quiet until it hits a certain speed and the gas engine kicks in.
